What’s in a Half Beef ?

– We typically harvest our animals between 1000-1200 lbs. This would provide us with approximately between 400-500 lbs of consumable product. A half of a beef would then include about 180-200 lbs. give or take. Depending on final weight of the animal and how you choose to have it cut up.

– 200 lbs of beef would equate to about 16 lbs of beef per month which is about 4 lbs per week. For a family of 4, that is two weekly meals. You would actually consume it in no time.

The cost factors out to $62.50/month, which is about $15.50 per week. I don’t know about you but that is nothing compared to my current “protein” grocery bill.

It also only will take up about 8 cubic feet. That is a space of 4ft x 2ft x 1ft. Not too much room at all, and if most likely a yearly or 6 months supply.

This product is all natural and locally grown from our family ranch to your family freezer. It is antibiotic and hormone free. Grass fed for 15 months and finished on a grass and grain diet for the last 90-120 days.

This includes processing, vacuum packaging, recipes and how-to information on utilizing the various cuts as well as an option of how you would like your meat cut up. This averages about $7.50/lb for all natural hormone and antibiotic free beef. Click this link to learn about your cut options: Beef Cut Selection Guide.

Don’t need a half! Share the beef and cost with a friend or family member.
